The Restaurant
Described as an oasis in Bridgetown, the Waterfront Cafe provides a quality dining experience
in a safe, comfortable environment that is extremely popular with both locals and visitors.
Situated on the Careenage (marina) in the middle of historic Bridgetown, the restaurant
offers nightly entertainment, full bar and an a la carte menu prepared
on site. The menu offers a combination of Caribbean, American and seafood cuisine.
Opened in 1984, the restaurant was built and continues to be managed by Ms Susan Walcott. Sue's
relaxed and friendly manner has set the tone. The cafe now has
60 covered seating 160 persons.
The Menu
The restaurant features an extensive all day menu which includes specials and a variety of local and regional
favourites. The menu also offers international fare such as ceviche, gazpacho, satay, samosas and the
all-American hamburger and steak.
A wide range of Caribbean classic dishes are available including crab rissole, flying fish, jerked pork, cou cou,
bul jol, pepper pot, curry and shrimp.
Specials and traditional holiday fare add interest to the menu.
There is a Classic Caribbean Buffet on Tuesday night featuring Steel Pan music. A la Carte is also available on this evening.
